MogCar Recall Policy

Before a vehicle is listed for sale, we check for open safety recalls using the manufacturer and NHTSA databases. Because only franchised manufacturer dealers can perform recall repairs, some vehicles may be sold with an open recall. When that's the case, we disclose it so you can have the free repair completed at an authorized dealer.

You can check whether a specific vehicle has an open recall for free at any time using its VIN at the NHTSA website (nhtsa.gov/recalls) or by contacting the vehicle's manufacturer. We're happy to help you look this up as well.

Recalls can be issued at any time, including after you buy. If your vehicle has an open recall, contact an authorized manufacturer dealer to schedule the recall repair — recall work is performed at no cost to you by the manufacturer.
